Custom kitchens in Lisbon, built by hand to last.

I design and build custom kitchens for apartments and homes across Greater Lisbon — from compact city kitchens in Príncipe Real to family kitchens in Cascais and Sintra. Every cabinet, drawer box, and island is built in my atelier from solid timber, quality veneers, and painted finishes, then fitted on site.

What's included

Site measurement, full design and renders, material and finish samples, solid-wood fronts with quality-veneer carcasses, dovetailed drawer boxes, soft-close hardware, hand-painted or oil-finished surfaces, delivery and installation.

Materials I use

European and white oak, ash, walnut and cherry — sourced from FSC-certified mills. Real-wood veneers over solid substrates where stability or grain matching matters. Marble, brass and bronze hardware. Hardwax oils and hand-applied paint finishes.

Typical budget

Compact city kitchens in solid oak start around €18,000. Larger kitchens with islands, pantries and stone tops typically range €25,000–€55,000. Every quote is fixed-price after the on-site visit — no surprises once I begin.

Timeline

From first conversation to installation, plan on 10 to 16 weeks: two weeks for design and quote, six to ten weeks of build in the atelier, and one to two weeks of on-site fitting and finishing.

Custom kitchen questions

How much does a custom kitchen cost in Lisbon?
Compact solid-oak kitchens start around €18,000. Most full kitchens with an island, pantry and stone countertops fall between €25,000 and €55,000. I send a fixed-price quote after one on-site visit.
How long does a custom kitchen take?
Plan on 10–16 weeks end to end: design and approval (~2 weeks), build in my Lisbon atelier (6–10 weeks), and on-site installation and finishing (1–2 weeks).
Do you work outside Lisbon?
Yes — I regularly install kitchens across Greater Lisbon, Sintra, Cascais and the Setúbal peninsula. Projects elsewhere in Portugal are possible; ask me.
What woods and finishes do you use?
Mainly European and white oak, ash, walnut and cherry, with real-wood veneers over stable substrates where it makes sense. Finishes are hardwax oils or hand-applied paints — never plastic film.
Do you handle appliances, stone and plumbing?
I coordinate with your appliance supplier, stone fabricator and trades, and integrate everything into the cabinetry. You get one point of contact through the project.
What guarantee do you offer?
Every kitchen I install is guaranteed for two years on workmanship, with ongoing support for adjustments and care.
