Oak kitchen, Príncipe Real
A full-room oak kitchen built around how this family actually cooks — generous counter runs, hand-fitted drawers, and a quiet stone backsplash.

Overview
The owners came to us with a long, narrow Lisbon kitchen and a clear brief: keep the light, lose the clutter, and make space for two cooks to work without bumping elbows.
We drew the layout around their daily rhythm — coffee corner by the window, prep zone along the longest wall, sink and dishwasher within a single pivot. Fronts and frames are quarter-sawn European oak, finished with a hardwax oil that deepens with use.
Hardware is solid brass, recessed where possible. Every drawer is dovetailed and runs on full-extension soft-close slides. The piece is built to be repaired, refinished, and lived in for decades.
