A bare apartment reach-in with wire shelving reworked into a full-height oak walk-in — hanging on two walls, adjustable shelving, a bank of soft-close drawers, and a continuous LED light cove tucked above the cabinetry.

Overview
The room started as a standard apartment reach-in: white walls, a single wire shelf, hanging rail above. The brief was to turn it into a proper dressing room without losing any of the tight footprint.
Two adjacent walls carry full-height oak cabinetry: a tall column of adjustable shelves at the entry, double hanging on the return wall, and a low bank of soft-close drawers tucked under a long folding shelf. A continuous LED cove runs along the top of the cabinetry, washing the oak from above and lifting the ceiling visually.
Built off-site in modules so the install was clean and quiet — carcasses scribed to the existing walls and ceiling, drawer fronts aligned with a consistent reveal, hanging rods in matte black to anchor the warm oak.
