Floor-to-ceiling oak wall unit
A continuous oak wall that absorbs storage, a desk, and a guest bed — drawn to disappear into a high-ceilinged Lisbon apartment.
Built-in oak wall unit in situ
Overview
The brief was to give a small one-bedroom apartment a real second function. We built a full wall of oak — open shelving, closed cabinets, a fold-out desk — and tucked a queen murphy bed behind a flush panel in the middle.
Every reveal is set to the same 4 mm shadow gap; the wall reads as one piece even though it holds four. Scribed to the cornice and skirting on site over three days.
